Doba is not a warehouse or wholesale directory. Doba is what is know as "a dropshipper and wholesaler aggregator". Doba is simply the middleperson between you and the wholesaler or drop shipper.  Doba differs from other wholesale and drop shipping directories as all your dealings are directly with Doba. Ordering, shipping and payment with Doba does take the potential headaches you can sometimes get when dealing directly with wholesalers & drop shippers. Doba is one of only 30 eBay certified solution providers. Doba only deals only with legitimate wholesale an drop shippers as their repuation/and money is on the line as they facilitate all transactions. I don’t doubt that some of the other drop shipping and wholesaling sites I researched are legitimate but why take the risk when it’s your money at stake. The number one pet hate for all eBay & Online store customers is that a product doesn’t arrive let alone you actually getting ripped off by a drop shipper or wholesaler that you really didn’t know. Doba eliminates this problem completely as all you’re dealings are directly with Doba.

A lot of new Doba members openly admitted they were reluctant to pay the $29 monthly fee. However they all gained comfort knowing there was a money back guarantee if it wasn't what they expected. The 7 day free trial gives you enough time to make a decision either way. The one criticism that is consistent with Doba along with Worldwide Brands is the sourcing of electronic products. Many members believe there is not enough margin to make it worthwhile selling on eBay. The fact is that its always been very difficult to make money on eBay selling consumer electronics like digital cameras as electronics sold on eBay are generally already at wholesale prices.

Doba provides the necessary educational resources to help you start or grow your online business. Furthermore Doba is aware that many new members do not have a great knowledge of drop shipping and wholesaling and provides resources that include webinars, free ebooks, tips on the best selling products, email courses, and market research.

Doba’s role as a middle person does effect your profit margins particularly if your looking to sell on eBay. Some eBay entrepreneurs prefer to deal directly with there wholesalers & drop shippers purely because it’s better for there overall profit margin. Doba is good place to start if you are a novice seller and wanting to learn more about product sourcing from dropshippers. However long term you will generally be better off developing your own relationships with suppliers. Overall the majority of members I spoke to believe using Doba has helped there eBay business and they like the fact they don't have to worry about dealing directly with wholesalers and drop shippers. Doba's current database of dropshippers and wholesaler's is bigger than SaleHoo but not as big as Worldwide Brands.  

               

Where To From Here?
The number one pet hate for all EBay customers is that a product doesn’t arrive. A more disastrous scenario is that you are ripped off by a drop shipper or wholesaler that you really didn’t know. Doba eliminates this problem and is very stringent in there supplier guidelines. Doba does have one of the largest databases of trusted suppliers of brand name goods.
